2UP is an early payout feature that rewards you if your team is first to take a 2-goal lead before the full-time whistle.

If your team goes 2 goals ahead (e.g, 2-0, 3-1, 4-2) at any point in the match, your bet is instantly settled as a win
Once a selection wins and is settled, no new bets can be placed on it. Other selections stay open

Can Home and Away Both Win in the Same Match?
Yes. Each outcome is settled independently the moment it goes 2 goals ahead. In a match that swings, both can pay out.
Example:
Home team leads 2–0 → Home bets win and are paid out
Away team comes back to lead 4–2 → Away bets also win and are paid out
2UP on Double Chance (1X & X2)
Double Chance lets you cover two outcomes with one bet:
1X: Home win or draw
X2: Away win or draw
Important: Double Chance 2UP works differently to the main 2UP market. Only the first team to take a 2-goal lead triggers an early payout.
If you bet on 1X (Home or Draw) and your team is first to take a 2-goal lead before the full-time whistle, your payout is made instantly, even if the match ends in a loss.
The same applies to X2 (Away or Draw). If the away team goes two goals up, you win early.

What to Know Before You Bet
If a goal is cancelled by VAR, the payout is reversed. If your selection regains the 2-goal lead before full-time, the bet is paid again.
The market closes in the final minutes of the match.
Once a selection wins and is settled, no new bets can be placed on it. Other selections stay open.
If you use Cash Out before 2UP triggers, your bet no longer qualifies for the early payout.

Can Home and Away Both Win in the Same Match?

Does Double Chance Work the Same Way?
No. For Double Chance (1X and X2), only the first team to take a 2-goal lead triggers an early payout. The main 2UP market settles each outcome independently.
What Happens to My Bet If a Goal Is Cancelled by VAR?
If the goal that triggered your payout is cancelled by VAR, the payout is reversed. If your selection regains the 2-goal lead before full-time, the bet is paid again.
What Happens If I Use Cash Out?
If you accept a Cash Out offer before 2UP triggers, you lose eligibility for the early payout.
When Does the Market Close?
The 2UP market closes in the final minutes of the match. Place your bet before the market closes.
Does 2UP Work on Multibets?
Yes. You can add a 2UP leg to a multibet. That leg settles early as usual, but the overall multibet only pays out once every other leg has also won.
Is There a Minimum Stake or Odds Requirement?
No minimum stake, no minimum odds, and no opt-in required. There is also no limit on how many 2UP payouts you can receive.

Choplife Gaming Limited, operating the betPawa brand, are offering this feature to all betPawa Nigeria customers from Friday 5th of December 2025.
2UP is available on all pre-match 1X2 2UP | Full Time bets and eligible Double Chance (1X or X2) | Full Time bets on fixtures displaying the orange 2UP icon on the betPawa site and app, plus all live 1X2 2UP bets placed before the relevant selection has been locked (i.e. before the outcome you wish to back has gone 2 goals ahead). For eligible Double Chance selections, live bets must be placed before either team takes a 2-goal lead.
Any 1X2 | Full Time leg on your betslip that qualifies for 2UP will be settled as a win if the outcome you backed - Home or Away - results in a team going 2 goals ahead at any point in the match. Settlement occurs at the moment the triggering goal is scored. For eligible Double Chance (1X or X2) | Full Time legs, the bet is settled as a win only if the team covered by your Double Chance selection is the first to take a 2-goal lead.
In live 1X2 2UP betting, the winning selection is locked immediately after the goal that triggers it. All other selections remain available to bet on unless otherwise suspended. The market does not auto-close after a 2-goal lead is established. In live Double Chance 2UP betting, the 2UP early payout is triggered once the first team takes a 2-goal lead. The Double Chance market remains open but no further 2UP settlements will apply.
Because each selection in the 1X2 2UP market wins independently, it is possible for both outcomes - Home Win and Away Win - to be settled as wins in the same match across separate bets. This does not apply to Double Chance 2UP, where only the first team to take a 2-goal lead triggers an early payout.
2UP applies to both single bets and multibets. In the case of multibets, all other legs in the betslip must also be successful for the overall bet to be settled as a win.
A 2UP bet is lost if a goal cancellation by VAR removes the 2-goal lead that triggered the early payout and the relevant outcome does not maintain or regain that lead before the match ends. The bet will be processed as won once a valid 2-goal lead is established, and any match abandonment after this point will not void that win.
In live 1X2 2UP betting, once a selection is locked, no new bets can be placed on it. Remaining unlocked selections continue to be available until they are locked or the market closes.
2UP won’t negatively impact any bets you place on a different 1X2 | Full Time outcome; for example, if your team go 0-2 down but win 4-2, this will still be settled as a win.
2UP is a separate market from the standard 1X2 market and from 1X2 1UP. Placing a bet on 2UP does not affect your standard 1X2 or 1X2 1UP bets, and vice versa.
There are no minimum stake, leg, or odds requirements to qualify for 2UP. You do not need to opt in, and there is no limit to how many 2UP payouts you can receive.
Beyond any applicable minimum and maximum withdrawal limits, there are no restrictions on how you use a 2UP payout - it does not expire or need to be used within a limited timeframe.
The list of competitions and matches where 2UP is available may change at any time. Please refer to the orange 2UP icon as the final indicator of availability for any given match.
If you accept a Cashout offer or an Auto Cashout is triggered on your bet before 2UP comes into effect, that bet will not be eligible for the 2UP early payout.
2UP only refers to the 1X2 2UP | Full Time outcome and eligible Double Chance (1X or X2) | Full Time outcomes and therefore a 2-goal lead in extra time or a penalty shootout won’t qualify you for an early payout.
betPawa reserves the right to suspend the 2UP market in the event of uncompetitive pricing, data latency issues, or other operational factors. Bets already placed will remain valid and processed accordingly.
betPawa reserves the right to change, suspend, or cancel this feature at any time without prior notice. Bets placed before any such change will remain valid and processed in accordance with these Terms.
