We’ll refund the stake of your qualifying bet up to ₦2,000 if it loses. This offer is available from Wednesday 16th August 2023 to the first 50,000 betPawa customers who verify their identity using pawaPass and make either an MTN MoMo or Airtel SmartCash deposit.
Your first Sports or Virtuals bet after verifying your identity and depositing will qualify, provided it’s placed within 14 days of verifying and depositing. We’ll refund your stake shortly after the bet is settled if it loses, and you’ll have 14 days to use your reward.

Terms and conditions
This offer is available to the first 50,000 betPawa Nigeria customers to verify their identity using pawaPass, deposit using MTN MoMo or Airtel SmartCash and place a bet from Wednesday 16th August 2023 onwards (the “Promotion Start Date”)
This offer is only available once per betPawa Nigeria customer: any attempts to create additional accounts by the same account beneficiary owner to exploit the offer may result in a permanent ban
You must be one of the first 50,000 betPawa Nigeria customers to both verify your identity using pawaPass and deposit using MTN MoMo or Airtel SmartCash to qualify for this offer; you won’t qualify if you only perform one of these two requirements, or if you aren’t one of the first 50,000 to complete both requirements
Even if you've previously deposited using either MTN MoMo or Airtel SmartCash, you have to make an MTN MoMo or Airtel SmartCash deposit from the Promotion Start Date to qualify for this promotion
Any MTN MoMo or Airtel SmartCash deposit made from the Promotion Start Date will qualify and your deposit amount doesn’t have to match the qualifying bet stake
The qualifying bet can be pre-match or in-play on Sports or Virtuals but must be placed within 14 days of verifying and depositing
There are no minimum stake, leg or odds requirements for the qualifying bet
There is no requirement to opt in to the promotion: the first Sports or Virtuals bet placed after verifying your identity using pawaPass and making an MTN MoMo or Airtel SmartCash deposit will be the qualifying bet
Only the first bet after pawaPass verification and the MTN MoMo or Airtel SmartCash deposit qualifies for the promotion; if the qualifying bet has been placed, it cannot be recalled or altered in any way
If your qualifying bet loses, we will credit your betPawa Nigeria account with 100% of the stake of the qualifying bet, up to a maximum total amount of ₦2,000
The credit will be added to your betPawa account shortly after the bet has been settled (within a few hours wherever possible)
If a Cashout offer is accepted on the qualifying bet, it will not be eligible for the promotion, as your bet won’t have been settled as lost
If your first bet doesn’t meet the specified criteria, you lose the right to participate in the promotion
Your reward will be documented in your betPawa Statement (check https://www.betpawa.ng/statements when logged in) as “First 50,000 Refund”
You can use the awarded credit on any betPawa products within 14 calendar days of the time the credit is added to your account
The credit will expire after 14 calendar days and will be removed from your betPawa account if unused, with no compensation
If your qualifying bet is voided, for instance due to a match being postponed, your stake will be refunded in full in accordance with the betPawa Rules; in such an event, there will be no reinstatement of the promotion on the account, compensation or credit granted of any sorts
You must be at least 18-years-old to bet with betPawa and receive this offer
